Terms and Conditions
OBJECT
Clause 1: This contract covers the services acquired by the CONTRACTING PARTY for Ikamuru Shuku Shukuwe Festival retreat that includes traditional ancestral practices and medicines of the Huni Kuin people being visited. During the retreat, participants may participate in sacred ceremonies, traditional rituals, dances, music, storytelling, and other cultural activities.
Clause 2: The retreat will take place at the scheduled location and date.
Single Paragraph: The CONTRACTING PARTY declares they have read and are aware of the travel information in this contract, agreeing to the conditions presented.
CONTRIBUTION – PAYMENT
Clause 2: For the services provided, the CONTRACTING PARTY shall pay Anaconda Movement the amount corresponding to the scheduled location and date of the Retreat or Community Coexistence. Payment must be made under the conditions and forms described below:
- Upon registration, the participant must make a reservation payment equivalent to 50% of the total package price, to be deposited into the account of Anaconda Movement. It is also possible to split the investment in agreement of both parties with the first installment serving as the reservation fee, and be fully payed before December 1st, 2024 – otherwise its going to be canceled and the payed installments are not refundable

The remaining amount must be paid immediately after confirming the requested services. Failure to complete the payment will result in cancellation of the confirmed services, in accordance with the cancellation conditions provided in this contract.

Failure to pay more than one installment will result in the total cancellation of the sale, with all penalties for cancellation applied as specified in this contract.

The 50% reservation payment is non-refundable in cases of cancellation or withdrawal.

The ticket FESTIVAL + TRANSPORTATION includes:
- Access to Ikamuru Shuku Shukuwe Festival
- Transportation from Rio Branco meeting point to Jordao and then to Aldeia Sao Joaquim
- Shared lodging with mosquito nets and/or covered camping. Each participant must bring their own hammock/mosquito net and/or tent/mattress. Nights are usually cool; it is recommended to bring a sleeping bag or blanket.
- Three daily meals during the package for the Huni Kuin Villages. Our menu is a special mix of VEGAN, REGIONAL, AND TRADITIONAL cuisine, crafted by our huni kuin team. Participants may bring their own personal snacks.
- River transportation is included in the Village Contribution amount.
- Optional external logistics are available through the Anaconda Movement. All ground transportation, air taxi, and hotel/airport transfers (IN/OUT) are included .
- A translator will be available to enhance the experience for foreign participants.

CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF THE TRAVEL PACKAGE AND/OR OPTIONAL EXTERNAL LOGISTICS
Clause 3: Cancellation is understood as the partial or total withdrawal from the trip and/or contracted services, including failure to appear at the appointed time and place for the start of services or showing up after the service has already begun.
Clause 4: The CONTRACTING PARTY must request cancellation or withdrawal of the contracted trip in writing. Voluntary withdrawal or force majeure reasons on the part of the visitor must be formalized in writing and sent via email to info@anacondamovement.com.
Clause 5: The CONTRACTING PARTY requesting cancellation or withdrawal is aware that administrative fees and operational expenses will be charged, subject to the conditions established in this contract and the rules applied by the village leadership.
Clause 6: After the legal withdrawal period of 7 days, the following percentage penalties for withdrawal and cancellation will be applied:
- 20 Days Before the Retreat: 40% of the total package value will be refunded.
- 7 Days Before the Retreat: 20% of the total package value will be refunded.
- Any Pandemic Restriction: The amount invested will automatically be converted into CREDIT, valid for other retreats at the same location/village/community.
- Medical Certificates and Other Declarations: The same refund policies outlined above will apply.
Clause 7: Cancellation by Anaconda Movement: Due to the Amazon’s natural environment, the retreat organization reserves the right to cancel, transfer, shorten, or alter the scheduled program without prior notice for safety reasons, weather changes, or force majeure. In such situations, the contribution received from each participant will be automatically converted into CREDIT for a future retreat.
NO SHOW
Clause 8: Failure to appear at the designated time and place for boarding (unless directly related to the retreat organization) will be considered a “no-show,” resulting in the total loss of the paid amount. Visitors who voluntarily leave the event and abandon the village will assume all resulting expenses without the right to a refund.
Clause 9: Anaconda Movement will not refund payments if the CONTRACTING PARTY is not authorized to enter a foreign country for any reason (documents, visas, child authorizations, etc.).
DOCUMENTATION
Clause 10: All requested documentation is mandatory for participation in the retreat.
Clause 11: The registration form must be filled out and signed online. Other documents in PDF format must be completed, signed, and emailed.
Clause 12: During the trip, participants must carry the original printed documents.
Clause 13: The CONTRACTING PARTY is fully responsible for personal documents, visas, vaccines, travel authorizations for minors, passports, and the accuracy of medical forms.
Clause 14: It is the sole responsibility of the CONTRACTING PARTY to maintain personal documentation that is readable, in good condition, and valid for the duration of the festival in the village.
DECLARATIONS
Clause 15: The CONTRACTING PARTY acknowledges the inherent risks of adventure travel and contact with nature and declares they are physically and mentally fit to undertake the contracted journey.
Clause 16: The CONTRACTING PARTY declares they have adequately filled out the medical form and that failure to complete this form will result in the inability to embark on the retreat without a refund.
BAGGAGE
Clause 17: Anaconda Movement is not responsible for baggage or personal items, which are the responsibility of the CONTRACTING PARTY.
Clause 18: Anaconda Movement is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage to luggage during the trip.
TRAVEL INSURANCE AND ASSISTANCE
Clause 21: Travel insurance and travel assistance are not included in the packages. Anaconda Movement recommends contracting these services.
Refund Policy Acknowledgments
By signing the registration form, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Release of Liability:
The participant understands that they are voluntarily participating in an expedition into the jungle, which is not a standard tourism travel experience. They fully accept the inherent risks involved in this journey and release the organizers from any type of civil and criminal liability, damages, injuries, injuries that may result in death, or legal repercussions that may arise from personal injury, loss, or other unforeseen incidents during the expedition.
2. Cultural Awareness and Attentiveness:
The participant acknowledges that they are entering a foreign environment with unique customs and traditions. They agree to remain fully attentive, respectful, and open to guidance throughout the immersion. The participant commits to actively listening, participating, and embracing the differences encountered, thereby ensuring a respectful and enriching experience.
By signing, the participant agrees to adhere to all guidelines and instructions provided by the organizers and accepts the terms as outlined in this policy.
