TXANA Inubake HUNI KUIN

Inubake Huni Kuin is a 27-year-old musician and healer from the San Vicente Aldea in the Tarauacá River region of Acre, Brazil. As the son of his tribe’s leader, Iba carries the ancestral wisdom and traditions of the Huni Kuin people. At the age of 21, he embarked on a journey far beyond his native village, despite having limited Portuguese and little knowledge of the outside world.

Through his music, Inubake weaves stories of his people, sharing their connection to nature, spirit, and the profound power of plant medicines. His soulful melodies have captured the hearts of many, creating a bridge between ancient traditions and modern listeners.

Inubake’s music has since captured hearts across the world. His melodies and powerful chants are a living testament to his people’s connection to nature, spirit, and the ancient power of plant medicine. Inubake’s presence radiates a profound energy that transcends language and culture, making him a young but remarkably influential Txana.

Txana Bané Huni Kuin is a 26-year-old musician, healer, and the eldest son of the leader of the San Vicente Aldea in the Tarauacá River region of Acre, Brazil. Raised in the rich traditions of the Huni Kuin people, Bané carries the wisdom of his ancestors and the responsibilities of his heritage. As a guardian of his culture, he has dedicated his life to preserving the spiritual practices and plant medicine knowledge passed down through generations.

Bané’s music is a profound expression of his people’s connection to the natural world and the spiritual realms. His powerful voice and rhythmic melodies invoke the spirit of the forest, guiding listeners into a deeper state of awareness and healing. As a respected Txana in his community, Bané embodies the strength and wisdom of his lineage, inspiring many on their own journeys of healing and self-discovery.

The title “Txana” holds a special significance within the Huni Kuin people. It is given to those musicians with the ability to mimic the songs of the birds, just like the Txana bird. Txana Inubake & Bané embody this title, their melodies echoing the calls of the forest and the rhythms of the natural world.
